Redding Fine Art Film Engagement Photographer
Ahhh… that golden, California light!! Could you believe this was shot in the middle of Redding summer heat? Yup, 115 degrees!!! But these 2 worked their magic just being themselves, hopelessly in love with each other.
Their story :: Taylor and I met in 2013 at (Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry) and were in the school’s worship community together. Friendship began to blossom at the very beginning of our third year in school, as interns for the school’s Worship (Music) Pastor. Taylor knew very quickly into the internship that he wanted to pursue a relationship with me, but I took a little while to be convinced.
The best memories were created on dates that really weren’t supposed to be dates. From the wind blowing through my hair riding on the back of Taylor’s red scooter, to endless laughter telling stories while eating gelato. These “friend dates” kept happening, and I couldn’t fool myself any longer – I wanted to spend every minute I could with Taylor. So after weeks of resistance, I finally opened my heart to let Taylor love me, and in turn allowed my heart to grow in love for him.
It had been a beautiful 8 months of discovering each other and growing deeper in friendship, and then on May 2nd 2015, Taylor asked me to spend the rest of my life with him!
It was so special to have these photos taken in the town that we met and grew in relationship with each other. We love California and the light it brings, so a setting with hills and golden light was what we desired for our engagement photos.
